These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReelTalk Events website, services, and any bookings or inquiries made through www.reeltalkevents.com. By accessing our website or hiring ReelTalk Events for an event, you agree to these Terms. ReelTalk Events (“ReelTalk,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a guided video storytelling experience in which event guests record voluntary messages that are later edited into a Virtual Guest Book and Highlight Story Reel.
All services are subject to availability. ReelTalk Events reserves the right to decline bookings at our discretion. Event dates are not secured until a confirmation email is sent and the required non-refundable retainer is received. Final payment is due by the date specified in your invoice or booking communication. Failure to submit payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of services.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the booth location is safe, accessible, and suitable for setup, including adequate space, access to power, and reasonable protection from weather conditions for outdoor events. ReelTalk Events is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or performance issues caused by unsafe, unsuitable, or inaccessible venue conditions. Clients agree to provide accurate event details and notify ReelTalk Events of any changes in a timely manner.
If an event is canceled or rescheduled, clients must notify ReelTalk Events as soon as possible. Cancellation policies, including non-refundable retainers or additional fees, may apply and will be communicated during booking. If an event must be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the control of either party, including but not limited to illness, severe weather, venue closure, or government restrictions, ReelTalk Events will make reasonable efforts to transfer services to a new date, subject to availability. Retainers remain non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled date at ReelTalk Events’ discretion.
ReelTalk Events retains ownership of all raw footage and editing rights. Final edited videos are delivered digitally through secure links. ReelTalk Events may use final edited footage for portfolio, marketing, promotional, or social media purposes only with the client’s explicit written permission. Without written consent, ReelTalk Events will not publicly use or distribute footage containing identifiable individuals or event details. ReelTalk Events is not responsible for the content of guest messages or statements made during recordings.
While ReelTalk Events takes reasonable care in recording, backing up, and delivering footage, we are not responsible for technical failures outside our control, including but not limited to power outages, equipment malfunction, data corruption, or venue-related interference. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be impacted by factors outside ReelTalk Events’ control. ReelTalk Events will communicate any significant delays as soon as reasonably possible. In the rare event that footage cannot be delivered due to an error caused solely by ReelTalk Events, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund of amounts paid, at ReelTalk Events’ discretion. In no event shall ReelTalk Events’ liability exceed the total amount paid by the client for services. No additional compensation shall be owed.
Clients and their guests agree not to misuse, damage, or remove ReelTalk Events equipment. Any intentional damage, theft, or loss caused by guests or venue conditions may result in additional charges. ReelTalk Events reserves the right to refuse or stop recordings involving inappropriate, harmful, or abusive behavior. Clients are responsible for informing guests that participation in recording is voluntary. By participating, guests consent to being recorded and included in the client’s final deliverables.
All content on this website, including text, images, branding, graphics, and video examples, is the property of ReelTalk Events and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission. ReelTalk Events reserves the right to modify services, pricing, policies, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any disputes shall be resolved within Michigan jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
