Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for ReelTalk services. When you book ReelTalk for an event, your date is reserved exclusively for you, and we often decline other inquiries for the same date. For this reason, all deposits made at the time of booking are non-refundable. The deposit secures your event date and covers administrative preparation, communication, planning, and time held on our schedule. The remaining balance is due by the date specified in your invoice or booking confirmation. Failure to submit final payment may result in cancellation of services without a refund of the initial deposit.

If you need to cancel your event, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event may receive a refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund, as we are unlikely to rebook your date on short notice and have already committed preparation time and resources. Rescheduling may be accommodated depending on availability, but a rescheduling fee may apply. If the client requests a new date that ReelTalk cannot accommodate, the cancellation will follow the standard refund policy.

In the event that ReelTalk must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe illness, emergency, or equipment failure that cannot be resolved, clients will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit. This refund is the full extent of ReelTalk’s liability; no additional compensation is guaranteed. If possible, we will make reasonable efforts to find a qualified replacement operator or provide alternative solutions. We are not responsible for cancellations caused by conditions outside our control, including but not limited to weather, unsafe venue environments, power outages, or venue restrictions. In these cases, the standard cancellation terms apply.

If technical issues occur during the event that significantly impact recording—such as power failure, interference, or equipment malfunction—ReelTalk will attempt to recover and deliver as much footage as possible. If the issue is caused by ReelTalk and results in no usable footage, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances. If issues are caused by the venue, guests, environmental conditions, or other third parties, no refund is guaranteed.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@reeltalkevents.com. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy, and that you understand the deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances except those in which ReelTalk initiates the cancellation.
